Multiple concurrent uses of an install.jar file
Hi,
My company uses InstallAnywhere 2011 and have created an install .jar file that is be executed in the IBM z/OS USS (Unix System Services) environment. We wish to train groups of people to perform the installation in this environment but we are running into an apparent limitation when multiple people use the same copy of the install .jar file simultaneously. Is there any way around this? I've searched the forums but have come up empty handed. Any help would be greatly appreciated and my apologies if this question has already been answered.

Hi Mike. The only thin I would see is to add some custom code to your installation that would detect an already running installer.

InstallAnywhere 2011 has an option to Prevent multiple launches of an installer at a given time under Project > Info. Is this the one you want?
