Is it possible to create native installers using InstallAnywhere?

Hi,

I am using Install Anywhere 2008 VP1 version to create installers for HPUX, windows and Linux. When i build, I get the packages in the format of .bin for HPUX and linux and .exe for Windows.

My question is that the Install Anywhere provides the output only in the format of .bin for HPUX and linux? Or is there any way to create .rpm for linux , .pkg for HPUX and .msi for windows. I mean is it possible to create its own native installers using InstallAnywhere????

Could anyone let me know the result and help me out at the earliest:( ?

AFAIK, no it is not possible to make native installers using IA. But for RPM there is an option that allows on to register your installer with the RPM database.

I tried registering with the rpm database using the rpm settings. But even then it doesnt show up in the target machine.I also try to find out in rpm database using below command:
rpm -qa |grep , but then it returns nothing.

Please let me know if am missing anything???
