InstallAnywhere issues
1. We’re getting below Warning while installing our Product on RedHat Machine. Although the installation succeeds but the warning is visible on console every time.
a. ./MFTWebServicesInstall.bin: line 2971: unzip: command not found
2. The Disk Space information computed by InstallAnyWhere software is incorrect. Our Installed Product takes around 1300 Megabytes and also needs an additional 2 GB space during installation (Temporarily) in the installed directory itself. This memory is different from what is being used by InstallANyWhere (/tmp). But It shows below in Pre-Installation Summary
a. Required Memory: 1061 Megabytes.
3. We’ve Upgraded from InstallAnywhere 2017 to InstallAnywhere 2020 SP1
a.In 2017 Version, if we have installed the product say Version 6.0.0.0 and try to install the same product with same version again
---- It simply exits saying Product with same or newer Version is already Installed
b. In 2020 SP1 Version, if we have installed the product say Version 6.0.0.0 and try to install the same product with same version agai
---- It doesn’t exit, Instead it asks to Uninstall the previous Version.
This Changed behavior is failing our Automation cases.
Can you please provide the resolutions to these issues.
