InstallAnywhere Self Extractor has stopped working.

I am packaging our product with IA 2012. The size of the exe comes aroung 2 GB. On adding a new 150 MB file/expand archive, though the installer is created but on executing the exe, it gives error as mentioned in title. Self extractor has stopped working.

Hi,
Try increasing the heap size of the installer under Project -> JVM Settings -> Installer Settings.

Though I have not got the actual error but I have got a workaround. It seems there is some problem when the installer size is large and instead of giving proper message, the installation does not proceed. Also we are not even getting any logs for this which is so unprofessional.
Anyway for the time being, if we create CD-ROM installers which have less size only 600 MB approx. , the installation goes fine.:rolleyes:
