IA 5.5 Sysout issue in solaris

Hi,

I am using IA5.5. In solaris, im getting stderr in the specified location but stdout is not coming the in the specified location.

Please provide me a solution.

Sorry i can't post my project. The mentioned problem is occuring for any project created for Opensolaris. Could u pls tell me whether any compatibility issues r there for IA5.5 with opensolaris?

Well, two things for sure: IA 5.5 was released two years before the very first OpenSolaris release, so I would say that it would have been impossible for them to support something that wasn't there at the time of the release. And the second thing would be that the version you use is ancient, so you may want to upgrade to a newer version that would support OpenSolaris. In that case be aware that all versions before 8 are EOL.

Thank you for your response. Could please tell whether IA5.5 supports Solaris 10 update 8?

Applying the same logic, Solaris 10 was released in January 2005, so again this is 2 years post the release of IA 5.5 I would say no.
