How to use SoftwareObjectKey?
We used to create an instance of com.installshield.product.service.registry.RegistryService
and then use the getSoftwareObjects(uid) or getNewestInstance(SoftwareObjectKey) to get the registry.
Now IA has provided SoftwareObjectKey and SoftwareObjectVersion, but no SoftwareObject nor RegistryService.
So please help me with how to use SoftwareObjectKey and SoftwareObjectVersion to deal with registry. Thanks a lot!
P.S. We've tried the Find Component in registry action. But it needs a UUID which our previous product didn't provide.

The ISMP RegistryService has been migrated to InstallShieldUniversalRegistry (and SoftwareObject is now InstallShieldUniversalSoftwareObject) in InstallAnywhere, to reflect (I gather) that the service methods query just the ISMP registry.
(There's also the Query InstallShield Universal Software Information action.)
