How to centrally manage the project specific static strings?
Hi all,
I plan to centrally manage the project specific static strings, such as strings for panels, shortcut names, warning messages etc. The purpose is to ease the string management instead of localizing these strings.
I know ISMP 11.5 SP1 supports a property file containing the key and value pairs for these strings, and then in ISMP project, these strings can be accessed using $L(property_filename, string_key).
Is there any similiar function provided in IA 2008 VP1? Thanks in advance for your reply!

If you haven't yet, please see the "Localization" chapter of the IA user guide; IA also uses properties files/resource bundles, but the locations of the files and how to refer to specific entries is different from ISMP, of course.
