Generated Installer crashes when size is larger than 2G (approx)

I am using IA 2015.

Generated installer is now (with movies, help etc) now 2.3 GB size. It does not get launched on Windows machine.

Installation works fine on Linux. Another product with size around 1.6G works fine too.
For testing I removed some files , the installer became small and works fine.


I suspect I am hitting some magic limit (which looks like 2G). How can I create 'working' installers larger than that limit ?

Are you using IA 2015 SP1? SP1 partially fixes the issue and allows to create close to 4GB installers.

I work around the limit by including large zip files in the distribution relative to the installer location. The folder the installer is located in can be referenced with the $EXTRACTOR_DIR$ variable.
