Database Server Hosts
😄
Looks like I get to make history today... first user post to the new forum!
Well, it looks like you guys have done quite a bit in the new release, well done. I'm glad to see a move to the new forum also, maybe my posts won't keep disappearing.
As for my actual question, with the addition of the new Host targets, it doesn't seem like Database server hosts allow the use of IA variables (At least port number won't let me use a $ in the field). Should variables be allowed for these definitions? The docs say for app server hosts do say that they are allowed.
Thanks,
Ray

Looks like Macrovision sees this as a 'Feature'. One thought that I had, though I haven't checked it out yet, is to just use the generic JDBC connection. I think maybe there you can use variables.
