Creating VM

Hi,
I am trying to create VM for linux in following way
cd to to directory containing jre
tar -cf vm.tar jre
compress vm.tar (this results in vm.tar.Z)


I have created vm.properties
.When I try to zip vm.tar.Z and vm.properties into customSolaris.vm
I get error saying invalid zip format vm.tar.Z

My question is is how to geerate vm from vm.tar.Z and vm.properties.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Q2 In Advance Designer in preinstall section when I choose Add Actions->panel
I donot see Choose JVM panel type.
