Could not find a valid Java virtual machine to load
Hi all,
I am getting this error:
"LaunchAnywhere Error
Could not find a valid Java virtual machine to load.
You may need to reinstall a supported Java virtual machine."
I am an end user of an executable installer that was created by InstallAnywhere.
The OS is Window Server 2003 Enterprise Edition. I had JDK 1.6 installed that did not work, removed that and installed JDK 1.5 and made the appropriate PATH changes. From the command line of either of these JDK's the "java -version" command will find a valid JVM so not sure what is problem with this InstallAnywhere executable.
I would appreciate if you could help point me in a direction. It appears the executable logic is not referencing the OS JAVA settings. Is there somewhere within the files below that I can provide the JVM location?
The following is the listing of the files within the executable (InstCARCM.exe) that I am attempting to run:
C:\Download\InstCARCM>dir /s
Volume in drive C has no label.
Volume Serial Number is 8429-CA9F
