Console and silent modes...
Hi all.
I've just recently built an installer with IA 2010, and it runs fine in GUI mode. However, it refuses to recongnise "-i" or "-f" directives to get it to run in silent or console mode. I've enabled all three in the Installer UI -> Look & Feel -> General UI Settings tab. I must be missing something, but what? Help!

For the console mode, have you duplicated all your panels into consoles? And for the silent mode have you taken care of all the variables that are normally populated within panels and consoles?

Hmm. How do I duplicate the panels? Didn't know I had to do that. And, yes, I have taken care of all the settings via a properties file.
Thanks for your reply!

So whenever you use Panels (most likely that is in the Pre/Post-Install, as well as in Pre/Post-Uninstall) you need to add similar actions from the Consoles tab (most of the time there is an equivalent Console tab for any Panel you used) Also, any Custom Panels require Custom Consoles to be written.
