After I canceled installation of IA 23 right at the start, when I run the installer again it displays that newer version is installed in the non-existent directory with no options to remove or otherwise proceed.
In Windows Explorer, navigate to the following path:
%USERPROFILE%\InstallAnywhere (./InstallAnywhere-hidden folder)
Locate and delete the appropriate version number folder that corresponds with your installed copy of InstallAnywhere.
