Question:
After successfully installing lmadmin when you try to import the license file, you get the import error because lmadmin can not find the daemon when you know it exists in the config path.
In the log file, we have
2022-02-08 13:54:21,084 root.Vendor (demo) ERROR: vendor binary demo not found - request to start ignored. 2022-02-08 13:59:58,253 root.Vendor (demo) ERROR: vendor binary demo not found - request to start ignored.
Answer:
Try to read these KBs may helps to fix the error
lmadmin Error :Missing executable for demo vendor. How to resolve it?
ERROR: vendor binary demo/demo not found - request to start ignored
If the above KBs did not help to resolve the issue then the problem would with permission of the binary or the lmadmin service may running as non-admin account and lmadmin did not installed as administrator, try to uninstall the lmadmin and install again with administrator permission which will fix this issue and VD starts without any import error.
