Client error message -34 (Clock difference too large between client and license server system.)
Client error message -34 (Clock difference too large between client and license server system.)
Question
What are the causes of client error message -34 (Clock difference too large between client and license server system.)
Answer
There can be several reasons for it:
-> The time zone variable is set incorrectly in the client which is more than a 24hours difference compared to the server.
-> The client system date, time or time zone(TZ) is set incorrectly.
-> The files on the system have a newer creation date than the current time on the system.
-> The license server respects and understands time zones. If the log shows the above error, the server and client workstations may not have the same date or time. They must be in sync with Greenwich Mean Time. Up to 24 hours difference is allowed between the license server and client machines as tolerated.

If this is true
Up to 24 hours difference is allowed between the license server and client machines as tolerated.
what's the purpose of LM_A_CROSS_TZ_OK? The documentation says it has to be set to allow 24 hour skew:
Set this variable to 1 (True) to enable a 24-hour client-side tolerance to accommodate time-zone differences between the license server and the FlexEnabled client.
