Is lmreread.exe the only option to get the License Server to get changes in TS
Is lmreread.exe the only option to get the License Server to get changes (activation/return) in Trusted Storage? Really no other way to make the License Server to get changes automatically?
As far as I can see there is no API function to perform this.

I believe that's correct, that the licensed application and activation utilities cannot trigger the reread. There's this note, for example, in the docs (FuncRef-c.pdf) for flxActSvrReturnCreate:
Note: If the returned fulfillment record contains concurrent or hybrid licenses, the counts in memory require updating after a successful return of a fulfillment record.
Use lmreread.exe as described in License File-based Programming Reference. This updates the license group counts held in memory. See Trusted Storage-based Programming Reference for information about these license groups.
