A customer installed flexlm 11.19.4 on a new established empty virtual machine, he did configure right (according to screenshots). Services are also correctly activated. On the trial to start the server he gets the error message shown in the log ("use LM_LICENSE_FILE to use a different license file"), it does not find the license file but is looking for it in a default directory and filename "C:\flexlm\license.dat." Looking into the registry shows entries for the service that are correct. The license path (D:\user\license.lic"), the license file (license.lic filename) are correct. Why Flexera is looking for license.dat ?
