FLEXnet Licensing error only when building on Linux
I recently received new licenses for Publisher after evaluation and successfully built the vendor-specific libraries on Windows XP.
I am trying to build on Linux RedHat 5.3, but getting the following error:
./lmnewgen cummins -o lm_new.c
v8.1+ FLEXnet, using TRL
lc_init failed: Invalid key data supplied.
FLEXnet Licensing error:-44,49
I copied lm_code.h and publisher.xml directly from Windows and modified vendor_daemon_unix.xml as directed in the devenv document.
I tried gcc versions 3.4.6 and 4.1.2 and get the same result.
Are there any suggestions on how to fix this?

I called in a support incident -- the support analyst informed me that my license was for Windows only.
