Hello,

• Document: FlexNet Publisher 2021 R1 (11.18.0) Getting Started with Trusted Storage-Based Licensing
• Section: Adding License Rights, pages 21-22
• Version: x64_lsb-11.18.0.0_v6
• OS: Ubuntu 18.04

Issue:

Commands and output:

ERROR: API function failed (50030,71521,19810)

No fulfillment records in trusted storage.

#>./appcomptranutil -local ../examples/ezcalc/30day_acct/30day_acct.asr

Local activation, ASR ../examples/ezcalc/30day_acct/30day_acct.asr
ERROR: API function failed (50030,71521,19810)

Exit(5) unexpected API failure.

Expected output as specified in the document is:

Local activation, ASR ..\examples\ezcalc\30day_acct\30day_acct.asr
Local activation successful

I'm unsure as to what the problem is. All other commands up to this point behaved as the document specified. From looking over the C/C++ API Reference, error code 50030 is Failed to load trusted storage or specified ASR. I'm unable to run down error codes 71521 and 19810. If anyone can point me in the right direction for resolving this, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

@russellquick , for a quick confirmation. Is v11.18 Flexnet licensing services installed and running while testing these commands?

A run for "lmver.exe -fnls" should confirm that.
