DISK_SERIAL_NUMBER value ?
Does the value used for DISK_SERIAL_NUMBER have to be for the C: drive?? The situation I am asking is where Windows 7 OS is installed on the C: drive but IT has mounted a B: drive. After that, the license file doesn't work. It makes it appear that the license is not finding/seeing the C: drive. Any thoughts????

I can't find a place in the doc that says this, but I'm pretty sure that the serial number used is the one on the first fixed drive that is found on the machine. So if your B: drive is a fixed drive and not a network mount, then that would be the serial number that is used.
You can run 'lmutil lmhostid -vsn' on your machine and see if it reports the serial number of your B: drive.
