False positive tampering detection depending on the application path
Hello,
I'm using FlexNet Embedded 2018R1 for the application which I'm developing. Application has tampering detection enabled.
I just realized that if there is a character '#' in the path to the application, tampering detection will be activated. E.g. there is no issue when I start the application which is stored here: C:\App\App.exe, but there is a false positive tampering detected if the same app is started from this location: C:\App#2\App.exe.
I couldn't find any information about this behavior. Is this a bug, is there some setting which doesn't allow some characters in the path and is it maybe fixed in the later versions?
