Where do I get help uninstalling?!?!?!!
I installed Blackberry desktop - when I removed it the update manager stubbornly remained behind. How do I get rid of it?!?!
I've tried the uninstall utility at http://support.installshield.com/kb/files/Q112918/SoftwareManagerUninstall.exe but it still won't go away.
HELP!!!

I had problems uninstalling such programs as weatherbug but until I discovered that I had to uninstall it in safe mode the startup directory reinitialized that program and that meant the entire program was still in tact.
to go to safe mode? it's been a while but I think your windows help files will lead you right there.

The Uninstall program at: http://support.installshield.com/kb/files/Q112918/SoftwareManagerUninstall.exe
Works on my english version of XP, but on my customers 3500 user nordic language machines, it does nothing but say it has uninstalled Update Manager - but nothing happens.
This program was installed as a by product of another program, and it can't be uninstalled by Add/Remove programs, and it can't be uninstalled by the SoftwareManagerUninstall.
I have tried to get support from he company that makes the original program, and they just points to InstallShield (although they do privide a way of getting rid Update Manager during the installation).
So do I really have to re-image my desktops, just to get rid of Update Manager?
