Can the same update be successfully applied by users who have installed with different setup types from the same version of the same product?
In other words, if user A installs setup type A and gets file A as a result; and if user B installs setup type B and gets file B as a result -- then will they both be able to update using the same update package?
Will each user get their respective updated files? Or, must I create separate update packages for each user, publish them separately, and name them something like "setup type A users, MyProduct 1.0" and "setup type B users, MyProduct 1.0" ?:eek:
You may get a better answer to that question if you post to the community for your authoring tool, but I am happy to give it shot. Which InstallShield authoring tool are you using..... Express, Developer or Professional?
