FLEXnet Connect 6.0 SDK - Test Utility missing
Hello,
I installed the FLEXnet Connect 6.0 SDK, modified my program that used the Agent from version 5.1 and finally added a test update on the server to test my detection program. When I wanted to call the Test Utility to allow my machine to see test updates the Test Utility was nowhere to be found.
Has anybody had this problem ?
Regards,
Robert

Hi,
Yes I did. I used the one supplied with the previous version (5.x) of FLEXNET Connect and it did the trick.

I had the same problem, it seems the test utility has been replaced in 6.0 by a different method.
Info given to me by a Macrovision employee:
This help topic describes the new process:
http://helpnet.macrovision.com/Robo/BIN/Robo.dll?tpc=/robo/projects/updateservice60/CheckForNotifications.htm
Basically, you create a INI file instead of running the test utility.
