one of our customers tried to install our product - packaged via InstallShield 2009 with enabled FLEXnet Connect - on a chinese WinXP machine. The install process did not finish due to msiexec error code 1309 (as you can see in the attachments) What is the reason for that and how can I fix it? Is there a way to configure the package for other character sets? Do the OS character tables make a difference on installing an InstallPackage with enabled FLEXnet Connect?
I'm not aware of this issue occurring in any of our testing. Have you had a chance to get a log of this installation to verify the information and availability of all the necessary files?
