I have an InstallShield 7 based app which uses UpdateService for updates. When my application starts up, in the launch batch file, I am calling agent.exe with the -AppStart switch (my app checks for updates every time it is run).
This morning, when the app is launched, I see an error message which is thrown by agent.exe. The error is -5004 0x2. A screenshot is attached below. Has anybody seen this earlier ? Any help will be appreciated.
I get the same error, running an application installed on a Metaframe Terminalserver. This error only occurs when a normal user starts the application. With Administration rights, the program starts normal.
