This article discusses bug SCA-10712 which prevents the 'Use This Instance' button from being used when attempting to select the linux-kernel in the FlexNet Code Insight UI
Symptoms
When creating an inventory with component linux-kernel, no matter what version of kernel I select, the "Use This Instance" button is available.
Resolution
This issue has been identified as a bug and a permanent resolution for this issue is scheduled for release in the 2018 R4 release. The reference number for this bug is SCA-10712.
