Summary

This article documents a bug under reference SCA-8933 which aims to resolve an issue of Request History not showing when the PAS_ENTITY_REVISION.USERNAME_ column contains NULL data

Symptoms

Following an upgrade to FlexNet CodeInsight 6.12.1 many of our requests do not show any request history.

Cause

When Request History is generated, an SQL query is performed on the PAS_REQUEST_INSTANCE_AUD and PAS_ENTITY_REVISION. This query contains a cross join on the PAS_ENTITY_REVISION.USERNAME_ column. When this column is NULL the Request History cannot be generated.

Resolution

This issue has been classified as a bug by our engineers. The reference for this bug is SCA-8933. A fix for this issue is scheduled for release in FlexNet Code Insight 6.12.2. The fix for this issue aims to show the Request History without user details when the PAS_ENTITY_REVISION.USERNAME_ column contains NULL data
