  1. Snow integration within the isolated Swift environment

We would like to collect info (inventory ) on SNOW from all all servers within the SWIFTVAULT. The swift environment is isolated. Following our discussion with Flexera, Snow integration within the Swift environment can be achieved by deploying a new server inside the Swift zone and installing a dedicated Snow Inventory instance (collector) on it.This server will act as the central collector for all Snow agents in the vault and will be the only system allowed to communicate outside the vault. Please confirm the required installer package and any configuration specifics for a standalone Inventory Server in a restricted network zone.

You seem to have received the requested guidance through opening a support case. Please feel free to share its resolution here if you think other forum members would benefit from it.

  3. Official release of Snow Integration Manager 6.13.0

We’re pleased to announce the release of Snow Integration Manager 6.13.0.

This release focuses on closing critical functionality gaps, strengthening security, and improving data accuracy across key integration connectors.

Here’s a breakdown of the problems we’ve solved - and the value we’re unlocking for our customers.

    Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization Integration

Snow Integration Manager now supports virtualization inventory collection from Red Hat OpenShift environments. Customers gain improved visibility into both standard virtual machines and cluster relationships, enabling better infrastructure insight, stronger license compliance, and support for modern OpenShift-based virtualization platforms.

Secure and Compliant OAuth 2.0 Authentication

The ServiceNow ITSM and Discovery connectors now support OAuth 2.0 authentication, providing a more secure, token-based connection method. This enhancement aligns with modern enterprise security standards, reduces credential exposure, and simplifies security compliance.

Reliable and Unique Mobile Device Identification

The Microsoft Intune connector now offers enhanced device identification by allowing the use of DeviceName + SerialNumber for mobile devices and iPads. This ensures more reliable device identification, reduces duplicate records, and improves the overall quality and accuracy of inventory data.

  4. Can Salesforce Sales Cloud connector obtain similar information of other Salesforce SaaS modules, like Marketing Cloud and Service Cloud as well? The naming suggests the scope is narrowed to Sales Cloud users specifically, and SnowDocs does not tell this.

    • Tom Lineen (Flexera Software)

      Hello,

The Salesforce Sales Cloud connector does not connect to other Salesforce systems.

      Regards

      Tom

  6. M365 Doubling Data

Just noticed in both SLM (SPE) and in Atlas (SAM CORE) the M365 module is doubling up subscriptions as the SIM data is including Disabled and Expired subscriptions.

Only way to get round this is if you have the Atlas SaaS module you can select to remove the disabled subs via a filter.

Support have a PRB record for this to be fixed in a new release of the SIM, just no idea when this will be released. So take care people with your M365 data analysis.

    • It's been a while since Inventory Server got any updates. We have several reports from our customer where (and Snow support) stating the 6.9.3 version have known issues. Have those issues been solved? When can we expect an update fixing the known issues?
