Update (Jun 12, 2024 05:22 PM)

There is an additional change to the post-migration expected behavior affecting sub-directories under the root directory. Existing sub-directories (excluding the upload directory) and their contents will be moved to the /upload directory on June 13, 2024. All files should be uploaded to the /upload directory. Software Delivery (ESD) integrations need to be modified to reflect this change to ensure future file uploads are accessible.

For more information about changes and expected behavior going forward, please refer to the FAQs: FlexNet Operations Software Delivery (ESD) – FTP/SFTP File Uploads article.

If you have questions or concerns not covered in the article, please contact Revenera Technical Support for further assistance.

Update (May 24, 2024 07:24 AM)

There is a change to the post-migration expected behavior. It was determined that post-migration, existing files in the root directory will not be available for use. Existing files under root have to be moved to the /upload directory under root, or under an existing sub-directory under root.

To ensure files under root are available for use after the FlexNet Operations Software Delivery (ESD) migration on June 2, 2024, producers must move the files from under the root directory to the /upload sub-directory or an existing sub-directory. After the migration, producers will not be able to move the files themselves and will need to contact Revenera Technical Support for assistance.

Original Post (May 17, 2024 10:32 AM)

FlexNet Operations Software Delivery (ESD) is scheduled to move to the new infrastructure on June 2, 2024. As part of that move, the following changes to the FTP/SFTP file upload functionality will be required:

  • To strengthen our security posture, transferring files directly to the root directory on FTP/SFTP Upload Server is will be discontinued. Existing files in the root directory will continue to be accessible post-migration. No new files can be uploaded to the root directory post-migration.
    • Please refer to the FAQs article for more details about this change.
  • When uploading files through SFTP, users may be presented with information on RSA host key changes. Producers can update the key and proceed with the upload.

These changes are in effect in the Software Delivery (ESD) UAT environment and will take effect in Production as part of the Software Delivery (ESD) Production maintenance scheduled for June 2, 2024.
