Starting February 3, 2020 all Mac Software distributed outside of the Mac App Store is required to pass Apple’s notarization requirements for Mac OS 10.15 Catalina. The FlexNet Embedded 2019 R2 SP2 release updates the MacOS specific XT kits so that Mac software incorporating FlexNet Embedded licensing can be successfully notarized for Catalina.

The affected platforms are:

  • FlexNet Embedded .NET Core XT platform
  • FlexNet Embedded OS X C XT x86-32/64 platform
  • FlexNet Embedded OS X Java XT x86-32/64 platform

This release also includes a fix addressing HTTPS communications affecting OS X C XT kit from FlexNet Embedded 2019 R1. Please see the release notes for more details. 

The FlexNet Embedded 2019 R2 SP2 release is scheduled to be available for download from the Flexera Product and License Center on January 24, 2020.
