We are happy to announce that Revenera has achieved OpenChain v2.1 conformance. Hosted by the Linux Foundation, the OpenChain Project maintains the international standard (ISO/IEC 5230:2020) for open source license compliance. OpenChain helps to identify and share the core components of a high-quality open source compliance program, thereby building trust in open source by making things simpler, more efficient and consistent. It is the industry-standard for managing open source compliance across the supply chain.
What does this mean?
Revenera has created an open source compliance program that we are applying to our own software development environment by implementing the best practices outlined in the OpenChain Project. The Software Composition Analysis team has adopted the program and applied it to our Code Insight release process. We are working through the steps needed to roll the program out to the remaining products across the Revenera portfolio.
