We are happy to announce that FlexNet Code Insight 6.14.0 is available. In this release, users will see changes related to the CodeAware functionality, scanning capabilities, additions to our REST APIs, and other general enhancements. Please see the product highlights below:
Automated Discovery and Scanning Enhancements
In this this release, FlexNet Code Insight extends top-level inventory discovery to Python pre- and post-build artifacts. NPM Analyzer will now scan the package-lock.json or npm-shrinkwrap.json file if it exists with the package.json.
Administration Enhancements
We have made an improvement in reports by using pre-determined report names which makes it easier to directly access the stored reports. The reports will continue to be stored on the Core server for 7 days after creation.
Users also gain the ability to download the Core Server’s and each Scan Server’s log files from the Web UI. A new parameter allows users to disable electronic update checks for archived or canceled projects.
Documentation Enhancements
A new chapter in the FlexNet Code Insight Installation and System Administration Guide is dedicated to configuring Code Insight in a Single Sign-On session. s
Additional Enhancements
This release adds new REST and Java APIs for the auditor, project, and util resources. The new APIs confirm total disk space in the workspace and upload directories. Also, database support has been expanded to include Oracle 19c.
