We are happy to announce the release of Code Insight 2022 R1, now available on the Product and License Center. Below you will find product release highlights, references to additional resources, and upcoming event information.

Scanning

  • Ability to discover open-source components from .NET binaries.
  • Gradle Analyzer improvements to better report dependencies.

BOM Management 

  • Custom fields for projects are now available.  
  • Project export and import now supports custom fields. 
  • Global lookup page makes it easier to search for licenses and components.  

Reports 

  • A new Third-Party Notices report driven by data collected from pristine releases across various open-source repositories. This report provides accurate license texts even in cases where license text is not present in scanned codebase files. 

APIs

  • CWE name and ID are now retrievable through the vulnerability APIs, allowing users to filter vulnerabilities by CWE information.
  • Users can programmatically configure SCM settings and sync to a remote repository.
