Bypassing Proxy Server

Symptoms:

Customer has the scan server and core server on a seperate machines. There is a proxy server setup by IT. 

The scan server is not able to reach to the the core server

Scan server is not able to reach to external URLs

Diagnosis:

The proxy server is preventing the hosts to reach to the external URLs 

The proxy server is preventing connection between core and scanner.

Solution:

Use the following option in the CATALINA_OPTS of the catalina.sh or catalina.bat file

-Dhttp.nonProxyHosts='"*.api.com|13.79.38.44|localhost|127.*"'

User you domain or ip address
