Internal Server Error with multiple computer delete after upgrade from SLM8 to SLM9.6

Hey Snow community,

anyone experienced the same issue after upgrading SLM8 to SLM9?

After picking one ore more computers in the new "computer search" and then do a "delete computer", we get in "Internal Server Error".

Deleting a computer in the "edit computer" settings one by one is working.

Thanks for any feedback,

regards

/heiko

This is what I can find in the web.logs:

  • Hey Lars,

    sure I have backups.

But as this is the only issue with the upgraded SLM and SLM9 has several improvements, i am thinking if I really want to rollback.

imo this is technically no DB issue and not caused by a (corrupt) DB upgrade.

But maybe the SLM files/DLLs are not upgraded or some may be corrupt - this should be solvable...

    regards,

    /Heiko

    • Yes I also think it is a problem with individual files. Does not sound like a database problem.

  • Hello Heiko,

I think the support will have asked you the same question... do you have a working backup?

Have you already opened a support ticket? I assume that the request has to go through Professional Service.

    regards

    Lars

  • I experience the same issue. any resolution?

Unable to cast object of type 'System.Collections.Generic.Dictionary`2 appears in SnowWebLogs and it is annoying, since I have no option to bulk archive/delete objects.
