  2. New Here? Here’s How to Ask a Great Question

In the Flexera Community you can post a question or share your own information: Asking a clear, well-structured question helps you get faster, more useful answers from our members and product experts.

Make your post standout with a good title

This makes it easy for others to understand your issue at a glance. Include key terms like the product, feature, or error. Short, specific titles are easier to find and more likely to get responses.

    • Good title example: How do I test Snow Agent Connection/Flexera One: Usage data not updating”
    • Not so good: Help! Error message:

Add the right level of detail

Help others help you by sharing context:

    • What are you trying to achieve?
    • What’s happening vs what you expected?
    • What have you already tried?
    • Any error messages or logs (sanitised)

Include helpful details like product version, environment (SaaS/on-prem, OS), and screenshots where relevant. Please avoid sharing sensitive information.

Use Topics to reach the right experts

Topics (tags) help categorise your post and surface it to members who follow those areas. Adding the right topics increases visibility and speeds up responses.

Post in the right product area

Make sure your question is in the correct forum (e.g. questions on Revenera solutions should be routed to the Revenera Community) so it reaches the right audience. Here is a short guide on where to post.

Once your question is resolved, mark the most helpful reply as the 'Best Answer', this highlights the solution and makes it easier for others to find quickly. Remember to sign in to reply, like, and follow Topics to stay engaged.

Our Community is here to help, jump in and ask your question!

  4. Who’s attending ServiceNow Knowledge (May 5–7)?

    Hi everyone,

We’ll be at ServiceNow Knowledge (May 5- 7) in Las Vegas next week and we’re looking to connect in person:

With Knowledge putting major emphasis on AI, automation, and execution across the Now Platform this year, many teams are focused on a core question: how do you ensure the data behind those workflows is trusted, accurate, and fit for real business outcomes?

If you’ll be in Las Vegas, we’re looking to connect with customers who want to talk through where stronger technology intelligence can improve ServiceNow outcomes—across areas like CMDB, ITAM, and AI‑driven workflows—and how Flexera should best support those priorities within your ServiceNow ecosystem.

This is not a sales pitch or demo just a focused, in‑person conversation around the outcomes you’re trying to drive.

👉 If you’ll be there and open to connecting comment below,  we’ll follow up directly to coordinate.

  5. Get the most out of Flexera Forums

Flexera Community forums are a place to connect, learn, and share knowledge with peers across the Flexera community, whether you’re just getting started or deep into your product journey.

To make sure your questions get seen by the right experts and your insights reach the people who need them most, we’ve put together this quick guide on how to navigate our "third space."

    What is this space for?

The forums are a collaborative space where peers help peers. You’ll often see Flexera staff participating however the forums are not a replacement for official support.

    Before You Post

A few quick checks can help you get faster, more relevant answers responses:

    • Search First: Check our documentation and existing discussion threads - your question may already be answered in a forum post, doc, or learning resource
    • Start Fresh: If you find a helpful thread that is over a year old, don't reply to it, create a new post instead to ensure it gets fresh eyes.
    • Check the Guidelines to understand what works best in this space
    • Location Matters: To ensure your post doesn't get "lost in the noise," always post directly within a specific forum category or tag it correctly (see our "Where to Post" guide below).

    Where Should I Post?

For the best visibility and the fastest response times, we recommend aligning your posts with these main solution hubs:

    • Flexera One: Covers ITAM, Cloud Cost Optimization, SaaS Management, Automation, and the ServiceNow App
    • Snow Atlas: For all topics related to our cloud‑native SaaS management and technology intelligence platform
    • Snow License Manager: For Snow License Manager–specific questions
    • FlexNet Manager: Dedicated hub for FlexNet Manager Suite topics
    • AdminStudio: For application packaging, compatibility, and deployment
    • App Portal / App Broker: For software self‑service, request, and fulfillment questions

Pro-Tip: Always manually tag one of the major forums above. If a post isn't tagged to a specific forum category, our experts might miss it!

    Need Official Support?

If you’re facing a technical bug or a mission-critical issue that requires a formal ticket, our [Support Hub] is the place to go.

Happy Posting! We can’t wait to see what you’ll share next.
