Kishan Pant asked a question.
Hi Everyone,
I’m looking for some clarity on the logic uses to categorize machines under Oracle Verified Data versus Incomplete Verified Data.
Based on current documentation, a machine should move to "Verified" if the scanners executed correctly. However, I’m seeing some confusing behavior. As only have the Java and Hardware Scanners enabled because do not use Oracle Database or Middleware.
Java and Hardware scanners being executed successfully and the machine appearing under the "Oracle Verified Data" view, but it is also being flagged under "Incomplete Verified Data" with the following reasons:
"No data was processed by Snow Inventory Oracle Middleware Scanner"
"No data was processed by Snow Inventory Oracle Database Scanner"
My Questions:
Is it mandatory to run all four scanners (Java, Hardware, Database, and Middleware) to avoid the "Incomplete" status, even if those technologies don't exist on the target machine?
Has anyone else observed machines appearing in both views simultaneously?
Is this "Incomplete" flag the default behavior when a specific scanner type is omitted, or does it indicate a discrepancy?
Kind regards,
Kishan Pant
