SLM 9.12 snowboard filter not displaying data
Hi All
I'm getting just a blue ball when I add a snowboard widget which filters. For instance I have a widget which filters computer types chart to only show %VMware%.... anyone else seeing this? I can replicate it with SLM 9.13 beta too.....
Hi Adam,
not exactly, but in a customer environment we have noticed that in 9.12 filtering on custom fields is not longer working in "Search for computers". Looks like there is something broken in filtering in general.
Thanks Axel - I'm already aware of this issue. It doesnt' look its fixed in 9.13 beta either...
Hi Adam,
I was off some days and did not install 9.13 yet. But as far as I know this is now a first beta release that only includes performance updates for reports, nothing else.
From next week on it will be a full 9.13 beta, including also additional features and fixes.
I also hope that filtering on custom fields will be solved then. But I don't know.
Axel, did you already create a support ticket for that problem with custom fields? And can send me the number, please.
Listed as a known issue when grouping on custom fields, guess it is a similar issue https://community.flexera.com/s/article/Cannot-select-the-grouping-of-custom-field-in-the-Computer-search-list
Thanks - yes not exactly the same symptom, but definitely the same issue
Hi Adam
I can get it to act the same way by using your simple criteria on a widget.
Also clicking on the view data takes you to the All Computers search, pre-populates the computer manufacturer filter as VMWare and just sits there not loading with the spinning blue balls.
This is on 9.12
Thanks Joe - exactly the same as me - time to log a call... :-(
On 9.12 or 9.12.1?
The error message shows:

Surely something Snow will have to look into.
