  • Hi @John Heyden

The Gateway is for Inventory only while the reports come from the SLM server.

    You have several solutions:

    • Pinhole your firewall on 443 restricted to your SLM server so that the SLM server can be accessed by users from your non-secure domain
    • Use the Report Export Scheduler so that the reports get dropped in a shared folder accessible from your non-secure domain (but the reports would be set in stone for those users, they could not edit the criteria)
    • Pinhole for RDP from non-secure to secure domain (probably the less secure solution)
    • ... make wise use of certificates to harden the above solutions
    • Use a VPN solution to access one domain from the other

Has anyone setup the SLM/SQL/Inv Servers in a secure Forest/Domain then have the Service Gateway in a less secure Domain/Forest... but the users running the SLM reports would be in the Forest/Domain with the Service Gateway? Is there a best practice
