carolai asked a question.
I noticed a very high login count for users
When I look at my computer, the login count for my user is 6895 times. I do have that computer for 10 month now and I am sure I did not login so often.
When I look in SnowLicenseManager.dbo.tblLoginUserClient there are some normal logincounts of 1 per day, but also days with a logincount of 50 and significantly more up to 470 or even higher for other users.
I alreday created a ticket for that, but looks like it is not so easy to find the root cause. So wanted to ask if also others do see this, or if it is something in our environment?
I am not sure if that behaviour do have impact on Most Frequent User calculation.
My SLM yet version is 9.23.0, but it seems that wrong calculation happens already since some time.
No, login counts seem to be reasonable in my environment.
Thank you very much @Axel Lamparth
When you execute belowSQL, then you do not get many rows with a high logincount ?
SELECT * FROM SnowLicenseManager.dbo.tblLoginUserClient where LogonCount > 10
Hi @Carola Iberl ,
I did check this in my Demo environment and can find 10 entries out of 3.500, but as this is my demo environment this makes sense.
In one of my larger customer environments, the query results in 2.450 out of 14.500.000 going back into 2020.
I'd say this is not an enormous amount.
Kind regards,
Axel
Thanks again Axel,
That also really helps. Then it doesn't look like a general problem, presumably some problem with special data.
In my production environmenet I do have more than 6 mio rows with a logincount per day higher than 50
Highest logonCount of a user per day in that table is 284843 😉
