Hi When I am looking at a computer in SLM, under the Information tab 2 of the fields (Location and Server Type/Owner field) have a an extra icon next to the 'i'. Please can someone advice what that indicates?

Mark is correct. the icon indicates that it is a custom field that has been created. to populate these fields you can either edit an individual computer or multi edit multiple computers or import data from a flat file. To edit a custom field you need to go to the administration section available in the web gui.
Perhaps those are custom fields t hat have been added.
