Hi Jeremiah, i'm not aware of any issue regarding the password length. I just checked myself and could login successfully. Is there any hint in one of the SLM logs under C:\Program Files\Snow Software\Snow License Manager\Web\Logs\Security ? If not in the folder Security, you might want to check the other folders as well. Thanks in advance. Geoffrey Macquet   Customer Success Manager EMEA
  • Hi Jeremiah,  If you haven't solved the issue yet, you might want to have a look at the APIuser role, as it is rather picky with what can and cannot be ticked for the API to work. It is very easy to break this role if you make changes to it.    This is a quite common reason for the API not to work.  By default these ones are selected, and should allow access to the API: And the only thing ticked below that is the API access:  You can of course reduce this, by unticking the " Complete access to all features and objects", and then manually select what you want to give the API acess to.  In any case, you must make sure that the "Acess to the License Manager Web application" is NOT ticked, as it will block access to the API for security reasons.

Hi Jeremiah, in my environments it works witha password of 66 characters. I setup a user, selected the API user role, typed 'http://localhost/api' and could login. The login count also raised after the login. Did you check the logs under 'C:\Program Files\Snow Software\Snow License Manager\Web\Logs'? /marcel
