How to configure licenses when using a FlexLM License Server

I have some software that is using a FlexLM server so I own a lot less licenses than I have installed. The client has to check out a license to run and as long as I don't have more running the software than I have licenses, I am compliant. The software shows up in Snow License Manager as an Installations based software. That makes me look out of compliance. How do I setup the software so that I don't look out of compliant on situations where I am using a FlexLM license server and I can install any number of licenses but can only run a certain amount concurrently?

Hi, you sound like you need change Application metric from Installation into Concurrent User I advise that would be the only metric you have, simply delete Installation metric for those. Keep attention to do this across all releases of the app so it is still in force when you update software licensed on FlexLM
