Portal User asked a question.
Office 365 expired licenses/subscriptions stay longer than grace period?
Is anyone else seeing that Microsoft Office 365 and other subscriptions stay on the tenant portal and SLM longer than the 30 day grace period?
We switched from o365 E3 to M365 E3 and the subscriptions we did not renew are still showing up in the tenant portal and SLM well after the 30 day grace period. They do show in the SLM as expired, but still skew the totals and costs in the reports and graphic.
Is there a way to get rid of them quicker?
Based on the fact that no one responded, I take it that your expired Microsoft subscription licenses go away within a short period of time. Mine are still showing up after expiration and grace period - 4 1/2 months ago.
Hey @Mark Walther
I hope everything is great with you! 🌺 This is a Microsoft feature. You will continue to see Microsoft subscriptions that have expired on the Microsoft portal and therefore via the Snow 365 Advanced Connector for 90 days after expiration. This is because when a Microsoft subscription expires Microsoft allows for an 'age-out' period in case the data is still required. Details can be found here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/commerce/subscriptions/what-if-my-subscription-expires?view=o365-worldwide
Now as you will be aware this looks VERY MESSY in Snow as you have expired subscriptions hanging around for 90 days that look to be available and unprovisioned.
Within the Microsoft 365 portal (portal.office.com) you can see under Billing|Your Products all the products with "Subscription status" that will show those that are Expired and those that are Active. N.b Unfortunately exporting that list is painful to say the least.
SNOW IDEA (I will look if someone created) - since the 365 Advanced Connector API pulls directly from 365 Portal....and there is a field that shows Subscription Status.....then you would hope that the API could include this and present as a Filter in the 365 Connector within Snow. I will update with IDEA if I find or create one.
I hope this helps.

For all of the MS EAS renewals I've done, they all do the same thing. For 90 days. It's messy! It does mean though, that you can go over your entitlements for that period of time and users shouldn't be seeing any warning messages, so there's that I guess.
My Microsoft license has been expired, But I have migrated my BlueDomino emails to Microsoft 365. Now what I should do?

For any type of IMAP migration like from o365 E3 to M365 E3 the user can try the Softaken IMAP to IMAP Migration Tool for the safety of their emails. To know more refer: https://www.softaken.com/imap-to-imap-migration
