Web Config Settings
Within the the SLM Web Config file there is this setting that is enabled by default.
Does anyone have any documentation on what it does?

I'm assuming it separate from the App Insights setting in SMACC and/or the license key part to send the diagnostic and user usage data to Snow for every action taken in SLM.
It's the SQL bit that has me interested.

With these we can:
Identify performance and troubleshoot issues for SQL databases and queries with AppInsight for SQL. This feature provides consolidated resource views into over 100 performance metrics across all SQL servers monitored by SAM. These metrics include read and write latency, index fragmentation, expensive queries (based on CPU time), SQL agent job status with logs, capacity, and resource consumption for CPU, memory, and drive space. Through one page, monitor resource consumption, respond to alerts, and monitor expensive queries without digging through multiple pages and views.
But it is only active when you have orderd a activation key
Thanks for the extra information that it does relate to the App Insights part of the SLM app and that that also not only gathers how SLM is being used but constantly looks at the SQL performance as well.
Do you have any information on the overhead of this constant gathering of metrics?
Reason I ask is I know you say you need a license key but i have seen SQL performance hit with no real term system changes other than going to an SLM version where this setting is present.
Hate for an SPE platform ignore that you don't place an App Insights key on it and in conjunction with this setting IT IS sending performance data to Snow without explicit buy in.
