Hi,
For the past couple of weeks, every time I open the SUS GUI on both SLM and SI servers, it pops up a dialog saying it needs to be updated with new files. Perhaps SUS is trying to update itself, but I'm not sure it's working.
Is anybody else having this same problem at the moment? We're on SLM 9.6.01 and SI 6.3.02.

Hi David,
If the SUS GUI had no connection you would see a warning message.
Does SUS try to download DIS files? You can't see any progress.
You can check the File Modification Date from the DIS Files here:
C:\ProgramData\SnowSoftware\Inventory\Resources\DIS Rules
If the date is up to date then everything is going great.

Hi David - mine started this today... I found that if I closed the respective SMACC and then clicked ok the SUS updated and then reopened fine.
Hi David, Adam - here the same. It looks like it wants to update over and over but once it's up it does seem to function. But if you close it and start SUS again it offers the update once more. And so on... This happens on our PRD, ACC and TST environments.
Hi Gert - you are right... just restarted sus and get the same error....

Indeed this issue is not there today. I even have the idea SUS is much more responsive!
This issue does seem to be resolved. And the SUS GUI really does seem to respond much quicker now! I looked at the timestamps of the SUS binaries and they were updated on 6th April ... so that might explain why we all saw an improvement on 7th :-)

I'm not seeing this issue today - anyone else?
