Add a datacenter cluster to a license

We have Snow 8. I want to assign our Windows Server Datacenter licenses to our VMware clusters. When I attempt to add the VMware clusters by editing the Windows Server 2019 Datacenter license, the Add feature cannot find the datacenter names. Why is this?

It appears checking both Downgrade and Cross Edition Rights in the license allowed me to find cluster names. I only had downgrade rights checked. Thank you both for your suggestions! Regards, Bill

Hi William, I was able tor reproduce your situtation. What helped for me was to enter a date period in tab page: "Maintenance and support". Eventually, toggle the field: "Upgrade rights". The minute I added a period, a set of computers, including data centers appears. Hope this helps. Best regards, Detlev Schigt

I had a similar situation, but in my case it was more obvious: I had entered my Windows Datacenter Licenses as "Upgrade Licenses" only, without a base license. So my licenses were marked as "incomplete", until I entered a base license and linked it with our current licenses. In case you have a Windows Server 2019 datacenter license, but you are running Windows Server 2016 or lower, it might help to either mark the "downgrade rights" or the "cross edition rights" checkbox.
