Is setting DATAUPDATEJOB_DELTA in SLM9.2 really inactive?

the parameter DATAUPDATEJOB_DELTA cannot be maintained in SMACC any longer.

Is this parameter really inactive in the DUJ sequence?

It is still present in table dbo.tblSystemSettings.

the parameter DATAUPDATEJOB_DELTA_FULL_DAY is also still present in the DB-table, but it does not seam to have any effect.

What happens if the setting of DATAUPDATEJOB_DELTA = 'true'?

Does this mean that DUJ is always running in DELTA mode?

Hi Markus, Yes, all data transfer in License Manager 9 is delta transfers, meaning that we transfer all changed rows in Inventory to License Manager during the next Data Update Job. The new Data Update Job in License Manager 9 works very differently compared to the Data Update Job in License Manager 8, and therefore the delta settings are no longer valid. Even if the fields still are in the database, they are not used by the Data Update Job in SLM 9.

  Hi Martin ( ‌) thank you for your feedback. We are on SLM 9.2.1 now. Our problem is that we loose many rule hitrates during nightly DUJ. ‌ The correct hitrates are establisched when we set the parameter RUN_COMPLETE_RULESET_DAY. Do you know if this can be set to "daily"? I think this parameter will trigger the DUJ actions below: Resetting all application rule assignments Preparing and activating full list with name-matching application rules

    Hi Markus, Unfortunately there is currently no way to set the RUN_COMPLETE_RULESET_DAY to everyday. This sounds like a potential product issue to me, and I see in the other thread that you have opened a ticket about missing hits, I hope that the support team can help you resolve this. Normally the RUN_COMPLETE_RULESET should not have to run every day, and if this is required in your environment to get all hits correct there is absolutely something strange going on in your system.

    Hi Martin ( martin.christersson2 ) I have set the paremeter DATAUPDATEJOB_DELTA = "false" and I can confirm. No full update. What I basically need to solve my problem is the DUJ action "Preparing and activating full list with name-matching application rules" running every day.
