Snow Agent (Package) - Raspberry Pis (ARM)

Hi everybody,

short question, we a little number of Raspberry Pi's in our infrastructure.

Did anybody know if Snow deliver a special agent version for this kind of systems ? Or is their a special source for this systems we can use an implement in Snow SLM ?

Thank's for Feedback.

Best regards

Sven

  • Hi , I'd say that there isn't an agent for the Raspberry Pi.  Here's my reasoning: If you visit http://www.snowsoftware.com/int/download you can download the document called "System Requirements for all Snow products" . In that document you can check the requirements for running the Linux Inventory 5 Agent. Under Processor architecture , it only says "x86/x64 (32-bit and 64-bit)" . Since there's no mention of ARM, I don't think the Linux agent will run on the Raspberry Pi. Perhaps you can add it as a feature request to the ideas board , because it would be great to see embedded Linux support! Regards, David

  • Depends on the processor and OS that the pi's are running, I imagine they'll have something that'll run on it - best bet would be to try with support directly;  ServiceNow   - or your snow partner if you have one.
